A cold north wind blows

clouds of leaves across my path

like an early snow

Cae lluvia leve 

Los paraguas abiertos 

El viento fresco.

Mes de octubre

Pleno otoño.

Light rain is falling
and umbrellas are open
against a fresh wind.

It's the month of October;
now autumn is really here.

this spring all was green

secos por el otoño
antaño verdes

Ripe berries tempt me
but I think I'll leave them there
for the winter birds

bayas maduras
